I am giving you guys a little sneak peak behind the scenes and showing you some of the work that happens after your session. Editing almost always takes way more time than the session itself. This is a huge part of photography and transforms the image into art!

Compositing for Safety!
This newborn was the most kissable little froggie EVER! The Froggie is definitely one of the most challenging poses when it comes to newborn photography. The only safe way to do this pose if by taking multiple images and then compositing together during editing. This not only ensures baby is safe but also create the most adorable results!
Photobombers!
We thought we would have the location to ourselves but most of the prime locations in Hampton Roads are public spaces. With a little editing magic, this mama looks she had the place to herself for her maternity session!
Babies come in ALL Colors!
This little 5 week old baby girl was experiencing a issues with jaundice when she came to visit me for your newborn session. Nothing that couldn't be fixed!

Sometimes you only have a second to capture a moment! I would have hated to miss this one! This is such a special moment for this family who just welcomed their ninth member!
Baby Bumps
This little guy had a bad case of baby acne occur before his session. While I would never want to change anything that is permanently part of who your baby is, with a little magic I can definitely edit out this temporary blemishes!
