New babies are expensive! There is no doubt about that! It makes perfect sense that families look for every way to save those pennies when prepping for the arrival of their newborn! One area lots of families try to cut down the cost, is with newborn portraits. After all your smart phone is definitely going to blow up with candid shots of your new baby, right? Some families try to capture recreate a professional newborn shoot at home (or let's face it, we all have a family member or friend that dabbles in photography). One of my mama's was inspired after her session with me and decided to go home and give it a try! Afterwards she was kind enough to share her experience with me which presented an amazing opportunity to show the differences between a DIY session and a professional session.
